Overview
Based in Elmhurst, Illinois, TinkRworks is a supplemental K-8 STEAM curriculum used by districts nationwide to augment core curriculum, support academic learning objectives, and engage students in project-based learning activities. Designed to target strategic STEM standards and concepts, TinkRworks balances teacher-led instruction with independent student practice. Students address real-world problems to design, program, and complete projects. The program provides all project materials, instructional resources, assessment tools, and ongoing professional support. Developed by teachers and engineers, TinkRworks utilizes the engineering design process to help students innovate, iterate, and develop 21st-century workforce skills such as creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
