Wouldn’t it be great to have a super-charged research guide that met all research needs for all learners in your learning community? Do you feel as if you have something, but it isn’t quite enough? Do you ever feel as though it is terribly inefficient for such a thing to be built school by school instead of crowdsourced? Well, the solution is here! Dr. Joyce Valenza and her team of Rutgers University students, alumni, and NJASL members have developed a replicable prototype of a brilliantly curated state digital collection.
In this Mackin, Joyce, her student School Library Media Specialist Grace McCusker, and Library Department Chair Michelle Luhtala provide a tour of this curated digital collection that will transform learning communities everywhere.
This will be of interest to teachers and librarians of grades 6-12. Michelle, Joyce, and Grace will answer questions throughout the session.
