This webinar is aimed at K-12 audiences.
Because data breaches come in a variety of forms and can happen in a multitude of ways, it is generally not a question of if the LEA will experience a data breach, but rather, when. Thus all LEA leaders, as well as the SEA staff who will assist them, need to understand how to identify when a breach has occurred, the immediate steps that need to be taken to reduce harm from the breach, as well as remediation that needs to occur to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
This webinar will allow participants to hear from colleagues in the field who have experienced a data breach, as well as examine strategies educators can use before, during, and after a data breach to mitigate – and hopefully prevent – the incident.
