On February 18, 2021, the Illinois Learning Technology Purchase Program (ILTPP) joined valued partners Howard Technology Solutions and Palo Alto Networks in a roundtable discussion surrounding the main areas of focus for K-12 cybersecurity. This interactive session was led by K-12 Strategist, Fadi Fadhil and highlighted the new realities presented by 2020 events.
The event focused on key areas, including securing remote learning, defending against ransomware, equity challenges, and funding. With Fadhil’s deep understanding of K-12 public education needs and challenges, he lead with a unique strategic vision, technical and operational expert advice, and emphasized partnerships that can assist K-12 organizations and leaders achieve exceptional results. As a former CIO of Minneapolis Public Schools and CIO of the City of Minneapolis, Fadhil brought realistic obstacles and impactful cybersecurity strategies to the table for ILTPP members.
