Cooperative Purchasing Coordinator, Illinois Learning Technology Purchase Program (ILTPP)
The Learning Technology Center (LTC) seeks a Cooperative Purchasing Coordinator to play a critical support role in the Illinois Learning Technology Purchase Program (ILTPP), a statewide cooperative program. The ideal candidate will be eager to gain knowledge and learn the basics of negotiating skills and processes to help support the program. This position requires accuracy in a high amount of data entry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to exhibit independence, flexibility, and good judgment to respond to changing priorities.
Typical Responsibilities: The Cooperative Purchasing Coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of purchasing procedures to process bids and create sole source agreements with vendor partners and ensure compliance with applicable state laws and regulations. The Coordinator will be responsible for responding to inquiries from both members and vendors to ensure contract compliance for member school purchases.
