Campuses are closing and likely will remain closed for the rest of the school year. For many, our education system is unprepared to transition to distance learning. Educators are also looking for high-quality, free recommendations as they teach remotely, and parents are struggling with providing supplementary resources for their kids. Come learn about several free K–12 resources from Common Sense Education, specifically addressing our current need for distance learning teaching resources. You’ll learn about Common Sense’s top curations of recommended digital tools and ways to foster digital citizenship as your students collaborate and communicate online. You’ll also learn about Wide Open School, a new, free online resource to support families and educators who are transitioning to remote learning as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
